A lively 108 year old by the name of Esmond Allcock claims the title of the oldest man alive in Canada. Fresh off the celebration of his birthday at his birthday party last Friday in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, Esmond shared his secrete to longevity while accepting the mayor of his city (Wayne Mock) declaring his birthday, January 26th as Esmond Allcock Day.

When asked about how he has lasted so long, Allcock credited having a good wife as the key to his health and resilience saying,

“I didn’t behave myself for a few years there, but then I got a really good wife,”

Life is good and apparently so is the memory of the beloved wife heralded for it all.
